Deodorant – Simpler than you think!

I have found that  I have to switch brands of deodorant after each stick is used because the effectiveness has stopped. Though small in cost, I am always looking to Save Money and find alternative ways to make things. Try this recipe for an inexpensive, effective deodorant!

  • Petroleum Jelly (base)
    1 part Cornstarch
    1 part Baking Soda

[Optional: A few drops of Vitamin E oil, and a few drops of an essential oil such as Lavender]

The combination of products depends on the person. The more cornstarch and baking soda you add, the less “sticky” the deodorant will be.

Add your deodorant to a glass jar and use your fingers to apply.
