Homemade Shampoo

Since reviewing Dr. Bronner’s catile soap, I have been experimenting with the many ways to use it. It can be used as laundry detergent (boost with baking soda for extra cleaning power), handsoap, cleaning (when diluted with water), and even as shampoo. While I don’ t favor it as much as my Shampoo from Sadie’s Herbal Garden it does make a good shampoo.

* I used a 4 oz. squirt bottle for this that you can find at your local craft store.

Mix:

1 oz. Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap (you can use more or less)

3 oz. water

10 drops of Vitamin E oil

5 drops of Lavender essential oil

You should find that this will last you longer than buying premade shampoos at the store AND it’s more eco-friendly for your hair.

-Enjoy!
