Fashion Part 1

I thought I’d do something out of the ordinary today. I’ve perused several different sites with unique, eco-friendly fashions and wanted to share these with you all:

This upcycled look comes from Salvaged Threads. You can find all of her unique finds on Etsy. This look really caught my eye as I can’t deny that I’m a country girl at heart. Her prices are moderate, and she offers accessories and home decor in addition to clothing. I’m in love the Owl Pillow she created!

Next are the Bohemian style, colorful Maria Buzina handbags that this mama can only dream to afford. Her bags are raw, colorful, and have a sort of “pieced” together look. ” The bag, for example, loses its conventional character becoming a Maria Buzina, an exclusive piece, with a story of its own. A direct confrontation to any kind of fashion pasteurization.”

You can view her 2010 collection by clicking on: Collection

Nature89  designs a refreshing line of ultra-soft eco-friendly clothing made from certified 100% organic cotton, low-impact dyes, and water-based inks. Their green collection consists of classic, functional, and colorful styles spanning casual tops, tees, hoodies, polos, capris, shorts, and more. The Nature89 line brings affordability and style to the inherent luxury and beauty found in organic clothing. Nature89 uses azo-free dyes that do not contain harmful chemicals or toxins. They are also a Fair Trade company. I could easily attend yoga in their comfortable organic wear or spend a day at the park with Brayden. They offer upscale comfortable knits at affordable prices.

Zoica Matei is another fresh organic line. Her tunics are something I would wear for business or casual. She offers crisp, earthtoned colors for guaranteed coordination. I could easily picture this tunic with a pair of dark skinny jeans, strappy sandals and some beautiful jewelry for a night out. The Laura  from Nuna  Collections would be PERFECT actually. Zoica Matei comes with a hefty price tag, but the elegance and functionality could be well worth it.

Internet shopping is always fun. Please keep in mind that these opinions are based simply on internet shopping and are not a review based on personal experience. There are so many amazing designers out there creating organic and eco-friendly fashions. Keep checking back for the ones I will feature here. Just a hint: I’ll have another feature on Nuna coming soon… You will get to witness the beauty of Tagua soon.

Stay tuned and happy shopping!
