Pillow Talk

Paper Cloud  was started in 2005 as a small kitchen-based business and has developed into a thriving business in their Cincinatti studio. Their current line of home décor, textiles, and apparel is inspired by the sometimes quirky beauty of nature, and interpretations of all that surrounds us. They’re constantly evolving, adding new designs and colors, dreaming about new products, and bringing them to life.

Their beautiful, handprinted designs are fresh and sure to match any decor. Hand printed fabric is more than just beautiful and unique, it’s also better for the environment. Printing by hand means using fewer machines, which means less fuel used, and less power consumed.

They print exclusively with water-based inks, on natural, eco-friendly fabrics, such as 100% linen and 100% certified organic cotton. Organic cotton retains the soft feel and easy care of regular cotton, but is grown without the use of harsh fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. They use 100% European linen, a strong lightweight natural fabric made from the fibers of the flax plant. True linen is naturally eco-friendly, and all natural fibers are sustainable as they can be grown responsibly year after year.

Paper Cloud creates beautiful handprinted home decor: pillows, lighting, napkins, placemats, etc. Their looks are clean and fresh. They would fit beautifully in a beach cottage or an earthy tone living space. I can even picture these in a chic New York loft.

You can even cluster these in varying  sizes or lengths for a fun look. Pair them in three’s over an island or bar in a kitchen space. There are so many possibilities! I would love to see this beautiful pendant over our dining room table. I was so lucky to receive one of their fabulous organic pillows. The Petunias Field Pillow Square has made an awesome addition for the work-in-progress that is my office space. One of the things I love most is that the pillow insert is easily removable for cleaning.

Paper Cloud also offers an apparel line of comfy 100% cotton tees. They offer Scoopneck and Boatneck tees in a variety of their handprinted designs. The colors are cheerful and the patterns are fun. At $34.00 per tee, these would make a cute weekender addition to any wardrobe.

Ariana and Matt have created such a fresh collection of products at Paper Cloud. I want to personally thank them for allowing me to do this review and I wish them much continued success in the future.
